National Nurses United (NNU) union members from Nevada and California will converge in Las Vegas this Friday, February 21 for a continuing education course on Medicare for All, followed by canvassing for Bernie Sanders, NNU announced today.

Registered nurses at Queen of the Valley Medical Center (QVMC) in Napa, Calif. will hold an informational picket on Feb. 21, followed by a vote to authorize a strike in an effort to raise patient care standards and win a fair contract, the California Nurses Association/National Nurses United, (CNA/NNU) announced today.
Nurses at QVMC will picket to highlight cutbacks and eroding patient care. Among the nurses’ top concerns is safe patient care; including safe staffing and dedicated staff for safe patient handling.
Nurses to Premiere Film in Sacramento to Celebrate Launch of UC Davis Bulosan Center for Filipino Studies

Registered nurses at MarinHealth Medical Center in Greenbrae, Calif. overwhelmingly ratified a new three-year contract, announced California Nurses Association/National Nurses United (CNA/NNU) today.
The nurses have been bargaining since June 2019. This agreement, which was ratified last night, is the result of several months of bargaining as well as an informational picket.
