RN Red Alert hospital tour

Join nurses across the U.S. to save our hospitals and protect our patients

As the most trusted profession, nurses have a long, proud history of taking action to protect public health. That’s why we’re launching a national Red Alert hospital tour to build community power and to save vulnerable U.S. hospitals from cuts to care or closure. Trump and Republicans have slashed Affordable Care Act subsidies and gutted health care programs like Medicaid — programs that keep our hospitals running — all to fund billionaire tax breaks and ICE. Together, nurses, patients, and our allies are fighting back against this cruelty, demanding a healthy society based on care and compassion.

The Red Alert hospital tour will stop in communities across the country, in 2026 and beyond, to host family-friendly events where we will make our voices heard (tell your neighbors, and bring your kids). When working people unite in an unprecedented way, we can reverse cuts to our health care, protect our lifesaving community hospitals, and build a future that works for everyone, with Medicare for All and more.

Can’t wait for a tour stop? Join our movement now by helping us get to a million signatures on our nurses’ “Vision for a Healthy Society” petition. We’re letting elected officials know we’re holding them accountable for protecting the people’s health, not billionaires’ wealth!

Add your name to our petition if you are ready to help make nurses’ Vision for a Healthy Society a reality. We’ll keep you updated on our campaigns and more ways to take action.
