Registered nurses will hold a one-day strike Sept. 20 at Tenet hospital, Los Alamitos Medical Center in Los Alamitos. Nurses at seven other Tenet facilities in California also plan one-day strikes on Sept. 20, in Modesto, San Ramon, Turlock, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Templeton, and San Luis Obispo.

Registered nurses at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, San Ramon Regional Medical Center in San Ramon and Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock will hold one-day strikes Sept. 20. Nurses will also hold one-day strikes at five other Tenet hospitals throughout California, in Los Alamitos, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Templeton, and San Luis Obispo.

Registered nurses at Tenet hospitals, Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo, and Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton, will hold one-day strikes, Sept. 20. Nurses will also hold one-day strikes at six other Tenet hospitals throughout California, in Modesto, San Ramon, Turlock, Los Alamitos, Palm Springs, and Joshua Tree.

Registered nurses at Tenet-affiliated, St. Joseph’s, and St. Mary’s Hospitals in Tucson, will hold one-day strikes Sept. 20. These are the first strike actions ever held by registered nurses in the state of Arizona.

Registered nurses at eight Tenet hospitals throughout California will hold one-day strikes, urging management to invest in nursing staff. This will improve the recruitment and retention of experienced RNs, and ensure optimal patient care, say nurses.

Registered nurses at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs and Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree will hold one-day strikes Sept. 20. Nurses will also hold one-day strikes at six other Tenet-affiliated California facilities, in Modesto, San Ramon, Turlock, Los Alamitos, Templeton, and San Luis Obispo.

Registered nurses will hold a public outreach action in El Paso urging the Tenet-affiliated Hospitals of Providence, Sierra and Memorial Campuses, to invest in nursing staff. This will improve the recruitment and retention of experienced RNs, and ensure optimal patient care, say nurses.

Registered nurses at Tenet hospitals, Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes, and Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, will hold one-day strikes Sept. 20. These are the first hospital strike actions ever held by registered nurses in the state of Florida.

Registered nurses at Alameda Hospital (AH) and San Leandro Hospital (SLH) will hold an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) strike starting at 7 a.m. on Sept. 20 and ending at 7 a.m. on Sept. 21, announced California Nurses Association (CNA).
