National Nurses United today endorsed the decision by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and leading House of Representative Democrats to open an impeachment inquiry into the suspected actions of President Donald Trump.

Registered nurses will return to University of Chicago Medical Center tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 21, ready to go to work. They will be accompanied by community members, patients, and faith leaders who are expressing their solidarity with the nurses, announced National Nurses Organizing Committee/National Nurses United. The nurses expect to be locked out of work by hospital management.

The juried group exhibition “Recognition: Labor Meets Art in Explorations of Identity and Social Justice” will have a closing night reception on Friday, Oct. 4, 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., coinciding with Oakland First Fridays, announced California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee.
