Without Teachers We Wouldn't Be Nurses
Stressing the common fight of teachers and nurses in protecting our public education system and other public institutions from defunding and corporate privatization, the California Nurses Association and Minnesota Nurses Association announced today that they are donating $30,000 to help support children, parents, and teachers during the historic strike by tens of thousands of educators working for the Los Angeles Unified School District.
