National Nurses United is pleased to present “Resistance and Resilience,” a juried group exhibition in Oakland, Calif., featuring the compelling work of 30 artists from across the country whose work embodies the themes of resistance and resilience. Selected by multidisciplinary artist and independent curator Pallavi Sharma and artist and graphic designer Choppy Oshiro, and on view Oct. 20 to Oct.

Ascension Health investments appear to reject Vatican guidance
A new report by National Nurses United probes the extent of Ascension Health’s violations of the Catholic Church’s guidelines for responsible investing. NNU researchers found Ascension holds investments, valued at hundreds of millions of dollars, in weapons manufacturing; alcohol; gambling; and oil, gas, and mining industries that are destructive to the environment.
