Humanity is the heart of nursing

Replacing RN care with A.I. is unacceptable. NNU nurses are fighting back against unregulated and unproven technologies that put our patients and our profession at risk.

Press releases

Registered nurses who work at Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals around the country will hold a picket and rally on Thursday, June 6, at the Veterans Headquarters in Washington, D.C., to call on the VA to lift what is in effect a hiring freeze that has contributed to more than 66,000 vacancies across the health system.
Registered nurses at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, will hold a rally to highlight their contract campaign priorities to improve patient care and working conditions. Nurses will be joined by Attorney General Josh Stein who since 2018 has demanded that HCA meet its obligation to provide quality, affordable care to western North Carolina.
Registered nurses at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, will hold an informational picket to highlight their patient safety concerns, including mismanagement of VA staff by Cincinnati VA executives.
Nurses from Desert Regional Medical Center and other Tenet hospitals will hold a rally and voice their strong opposition to the proposed sale of Desert Regional to Tenet as the Desert Healthcare District board is expected to vote on the proposal at their board meeting on Tuesday, May 28.

Organize with National Nurses United to improve workplace standards through collective bargaining, reform national health care legislation, and make a difference for you and your patients.
