UC Davis Medical Center Perioperative Nurses To Rally For Safe Patient Care, Safe Staffing

To protect patient safety standards and demand safe staffing for nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic, perioperative nurses at UC Davis Medical Center (UCDMC), along with fellow UC Davis nurses, will hold a rally and action on Thursday, July 23, the California Nurses Association announced today.

Nurses will voice opposition to UCDMC perioperative services management’s attempt to implement unsafe staffing plans that will put nurses and patients at risk. Nurses will assemble outside the main entrance of the hospital.

  • Where: UC Davis Medical Center 2315 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95817 (Nurses will be gathering in the roundabout near the main entrance to the Hospital. Parking is available on site).
