Resistance and Resilience

National Nurses United presents a juried art exhibition on view Oct. 20-24
National Nurses United is pleased to present “Resistance and Resilience,” a juried group exhibition in Oakland, Calif., featuring the compelling work of 30 artists from across the country whose work embodies the themes of resistance and resilience. Selected by multidisciplinary artist and independent curator Pallavi Sharma and artist and graphic designer Choppy Oshiro, and on view Oct. 20 to Oct. 24, 2025, this exhibition addresses a range of issues: labor rights, environmental health, human rights, mental health, civil rights for disabled people, and more.
Opening reception: Friday, Oct. 17, 5-8 p.m.
On view: Oct. 20-24, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
