National Nurses United will bring its campaign, and its colorful #BernieBus, to Albuquerque today as nurses continue to spread the message of why they support Sen. Bernie Sanders for President, the candidate they say, best reflects nurses values of caring, compassion and community.

The #BernieBus, spent the past two days in Arizona, after traveling throughout Nevada for two weeks and spending time earlier in January in Iowa. There are also nurses aboard another #BernieBus currently in South Carolina in the run up to the primary there.

“It is Bernie Sanders who has made guaranteeing health care to everyone through an improved Medicare for all, which is also the best way to solve the crisis of medical debt, a centerpiece of his campaign,” said RoseAnn DeMoro, Executive Director of NNU.

National Nurses United is the largest union of nurses in the country, with 185,000 members in 50 states—and was the first national union to endorse Sanders, in August, 2015. Since then nurses have been campaigning for Sanders across the country, canvassing door-to-door, phone-banking and attending rallies.
