Hayward nurses strike averted as St. Rose Hospital RNs reach tentative agreement

Union nurses at St. Rose Hospital had been set to strike on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 2 and 3

Registered nurses at St Rose Hospital in Hayward, Calif., have reached a tentative agreement with management, averting a two-day strike that was set to begin on Tuesday, May 2, announced California Nurses Association/National Nurses United (CNA/NNU) today.

The nurses will vote to ratify a new agreement this upcoming week.

CNA represents 200 nurses at St. Rose Hospital.
