Patients Safety Comes From Union Strength

On the day of the upcoming ruling by the Supreme Court affecting public sector unions and workers, in the case of Janus v. AFSCME, National Nurses United and public sector registered nurses will hold a press conference at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital in Chicago to discuss the impact of the decision.

NNU has warned that the decision by the pro-corporate majority on the Supreme Court may severely jeopardize the ability of nurses who work in public sector settings to advocate for safe patient care.

What: Press Conference-Nurses Response to Supreme Court Ruling on “Janus v. AFSCME.”
When: 12 noon on the DAY the ruling is handed down.

Registered nurses affiliated with California Nurses Association/National Nurses United will also hold press conferences on the day of the decision at medical facilities throughout California: San Francisco and Sacramento in Northern California and Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and San Diego.
