Sample script to oppose SB 1432 and SB 1447’s delays in earthquake safety standards at hospitals:

“I am a registered nurse and I work at _________ hospital in _______, CA. I see firsthand how hospitals are gambling with patient lives by pushing to delay seismic safety standards. That’s why I oppose both SB 1432 and SB 1447. I urge ________ (legislator's name) to keep hospitals accountable to earthquake safety measures and vote to oppose these bills. Our hospitals must stay open and fully functioning in the event of a major earthquake.”

To protect California’s high standards for nurse licensing and education, I oppose AB 3232. Please vote to oppose AB 3232 and reject the Nurse Licensure Compact.”
