Recently the Registered Nurses Response Network sent volunteer nurses to help with medical aid at the Standing Rock Site where a protest against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline has been going since January 2016 and has gained significant traction for the past nine months. But why isn’t the mainstream media covering this when the Dakota Access Pipeline does not lack the potential to be devastating to the environment? Nurses know why and are offering their solidarity and support.
