Cites Yee’s Career-long Commitment to Healthcare Advocacy

Registered nurses from the California Nurses Association have endorsed State Senator Leland Yee for mayor of San Francisco.
 
“Senator Yee is a longtime, passionate advocate for single-payer guaranteed healthcare and he has consistently stood up to the insurance companies, Schwarzenegger, and their fake healthcare reform measures,” said Zenei Cortez, RN, co-president, California Nurses Association. “His record in areas such as mental health services, HIV funding, children’s health, and hospital disclosure should make every San Franciscan proud.  This is why we enthusiastically support Leland Yee for Mayor of San Francisco.”
