The California Nurses Association/National Nurses United (CNA/NNU) is seeking experienced secretaries. CNA/NNU is leading the national movement for registered nurse power to transform the market-driven health care industry in the United States into a health care system based on patient need. CNA/NNU is the nation's largest union and professional association of direct care registered nurses, with more than 100,000 members in all 50 states, Current openings are based in our Tampa, FL office.

Job Description:

Candidates must have experience working as the key support staff in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Position requires excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills, strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and logistical experience in event development and execution. Required skills include word processing, data entry, basic accounting administrative support, operation of office equipment, (copier, mail machine, shredder, fax, video and audio conferencing), general administrative support, and special projects as assigned. Qualified candidates must possess self-initiative/motivation and be able to perform secretarial duties under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required. Three to five years working as a secretary or with office management experience is preferred. Previous experience with labor unions is a plus.
